Not to say Bleach was ripped off (especially as I'm not sure it would have been the first to do that anyway...): Spoiler for Bleach: It's like Old Man Zangetsu and White Ichigo both being aspects of Ichigo's power. All that to say that Ichika's probably going to have to sacrifice his IS and piloting ability to defeat Big Bad Tabane, spend a few years pouting, and then, hm, rebuild his IS following new engineering princliples? Or something.
