Completely different Eren charged in recklessly like an idiot(anime wise it also got 2 other people killed).
Mikasa knew without gas they where dead if they stayed there so she pulled them out of their despair and rallied the others to fight for their lives, only thing I can fault her for is giving in to her grief for a little although she pulled though it.
