Okay, the S.H.R.I.N.K beam aside.
There's also the Cryo Legionnaire, the infantry version of the Cryocopter but without the S.H.R.I.N.K beam.
And they both do the same thing; freeze and immobilizes their targets without harming them.
That's what I originally had in mind for the Cryo Blaster for my guys. Not Mass Effect's Cryo Blaster (M-622 Avalanche).
