I know it's fanservice
(although it's hard to call it PROPER fanservice when Shu is so scrawny and kinda vanilla; he's not interesting enough to deserve Ayase OR Inori imo), and it's obvious that it's not the first time it has happened. But I asked the question from a logical/realistic perspective.
I guess I often forget that anime is just that --
anime, and people still think it's okay whenever the "but it's an anime" card gets played.
