Tomboy isn't really a good translation for that word... it means "unmanageable girl, shrew, bitch or stubborn tomboy", etc. It's commonly used for じゃじゃ馬馴らし which is "The Taming of the Shrew".
Lord... that manga is all sorta of wrong from TP lol. Zechs says nothing about investigate...
