Very rarely do I ever find that classic shonen solution for everything all that appealing and unfortunately the cynic inside made this no exception. It's not like I don't understand his desire to avoid bloodshed needlessly or his reluctance in making crooked deals to make means meet ends but still, sometimes life really is about picking the least worst choice. But I guess that's way too cynical for something like this show to handle which is a kind of shame, since it hasn't shied away from intriguing politics.
At least Alibaba found some resolve and hopefully he has a clear cut plan to deal with the situation. For me he's still the most sympathetic character of the lot, even if he is a little generic. Hopefully he'll have more complex issues to deal with than just an inferiority complex in the future.
