Oh, I didn't watch 'Darkness', actually. I was just comparing Rito at the end of the first anime to how he was in the beginning...and I thought he grew some spine then.
........if Darkness completely ignores that.......dear God, what a crying shame.
I hates when character growth is forsaken 'for the sake of the plot"!!
You see, the reason I watched the first anime series was because my friend really liked it..and we often watched ecchi harem together because we found them so funny....but some time ago, we had a falling out and can't really hang out together anymore.
So I didn't have any motivation to continue with the sequel once it came out. I don't feel like I'm missing much. The series is all right...but there are far better ecchi harem shows out there.
