Well if you dont mind some action in it, then here some suggestion:
To aru Majutsu no Index - Living under the same roof theme, Students, It like Shakugan no shana(it on ur List) Not much Romance development, mostly actions. but there is some romance in it.
Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko - Great Anime art work, Interesting Storyline, Living under the same roof theme, and students.
Aria no Hidan - Actions RomComedy, Main girls is a transfer student, Something happen and now they living together.
Gift The erternal Rainbow - I think this is what you looking for. A childhood friend, who move away when their kids. now came back and she is living under the same roof as the main character and they go to the same school. But sad part is that the comedy dont really Shine in this anime, it more Dramatic.
