Well, what happens is that they give you the option of doing a 3P. If you choose it, well, that happens. Only in Chris route, obviously.

That event has no influence at all in the ending. You can reject it and you'll still succesfully reach it. Of course, if you aim for 100% CG and Replay, you have to watch it.
