VROOM 08 - Pilder On!

Though it's clear that nobody can dock with each other except for Akane, the title of the series itself is still hinting at some sort of "Vivid Red" with Akane and... really, all bets are on Rei at this point. The biggest thing I got out of this episode was that the Neuroi-like form of the Alone seem to be the larval stage. When they hatch, they're more insectoid and more... Angel-ish? It's still hard to figure just how these things are going to help Reirei get her world back. Though I can see how they're related to the crow. Both are kinda creepy. The idea that Akane's boomerang suddenly turned into a jetpack was also kind of awesome. What other Easter eggs did the otter program into this thing?

Hopefully there's still a new ending or two for the remainder of the series. I like "Vivid Shining Sky", but more music is never a bad thing.
