Personally, I'd still lean towards Magellan becoming a VA rather than an admiral, but that's just me. Either way, I do still find it quite likely that he'd transfer to the marines at some point during the skip.
BTW, this is a bit off-topic, but some folks may want to mosey on over to the SBS thread right about now. Info from Blue Deep is starting to leak out, after all.....
