Ep8 went by so quickly that I thought we were only ten minutes in when it ended. Beautiful job.

I can't get over how good the seiyuus are here. Mamo-chan and Seki Tomokazu are excellent. Kana-chan is...Kana-chan. Imai Asami is fascinating as Kurisu. And isn't Kobayashi Yuu, who often does boys, excellent as a boy who is more girly than most girls? Yukarin as Suzuha, Gotou Saori as Moeka...all good.

Maybe they seemed better since I'd just watched Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi, where the seiyuus are almost uniformly bad. Of course, maybe it's the difference between the experienced sound director for Saiunkoku here, and the inexperienced sound director for Cookin' Idol Ai! Mai! Mine! there.

Spoiler for ep8: And I love the gender thing with Ruka...even though I can't believe it in the least. If they changed the past that way -- unlikely to begin with -- there is no way Ruka would have been in that room at that same time, etc. Or should I say, there would be an infinitesimally small number of world-lines in which a female Ruka was in that room with those people then. EDIT: I agree with Raiga, "-chan" is the give-away. So is her instinctively covering her chest when she realized someone was looking there. I can't get over how good the seiyuus are here.
