My only advice for the continuation.
1. No murder
2. No serious crime happening
3. No overt angst
At least until the arc finished

Otherwise, it's detailed, even the character gestures is described naturally without being too forced or awkward. This is a normal situation in every sense of the word.

Random scene:
During sport festival prior to seaside school, there's a special race called "maiden carry", unsurprisingly a lot of girls wanted to be the maiden... except Ling, because her partner would be Dan. In the end, it's settled that the maiden have to be the smallest/lightest girl in the class.

As follow: Charlotte (1-1) Lingying (1-2) Laura (1-3) Kanzashi (1-4), with Ichika, Dan, Rito, and Len respectively

The funny part is the way they carried. Ichika does princess carry per his classmate forced request, Dan did it piggyback style, Rito carried on his shoulder, and Len... took the most practical approach (Fortunately, Kanzashi didn't protest)

Len won with a slight edge over Rito, Ichika last (there's good reason Firemen and soldier never did princess carry)
