That was the biggest surprise to me when seeing Akiko as a emotionless, less energetic and cold android. It was complete 180-degrees from her boisterous and talkative persona at the cafe. My jaw just dropped literally. What in the world is going on in that cafe?

A thought came to my mind after the first episode:

Could everyone save for Masaki and Rikuo be androids at the cafe?

Anyway, the animation is wonderfully done, and the music has a certain charm to it that matches the pace of the show.

I'm anxious to see the next episode now.

What more surprises and twists will come up?
