she's still flighty but not as much as in the TV series where she acts more like a child who wants to play all the time. That's not bad, it's part of her charm, but the movie version is a little easier for viewers to relate to her... I suppose.

That's convincing enough for me, I'll def have to check out the movie for sure.

Another reason I like her childishness is cause I think it's interesting to see her state deteriorate towards the end of the show. She is pretty kid like anyways, but then she has her hair cut like a child, loses her ability to walk, and then has that thing where she has to walk to her "mom". I think it's a very touching progression, makes me think of muscular dystrophie or something.
