Izayoi asked Asuka directly if she was from right after the war, and she said yes. Now we can make guesses about alternate timelines if we want, but in a meta-sense usually things like this are stated specifically to give us points of comparison. The author is trying to tell us that Asuka is a rich, sheltered girl from about 60 years in the past, which colors the way she thinks and the sort of knowledge she has.

Yes!" This episode finally felt like it achieved a good balance with the characters (they still spent more time on Izayoi than I prefer, but the other kids and Kurousagi didn't feel overshadowed this time), and the different setting, and the trolling they did with the letter, and time spent with Shiroyasha, and the different groups wandering the festival, and the game that ended in a draw, and everything was all fun. I'm sure
someone somewhere is going to complain that "nothing happened" in this episode, but I thought it was excellent. Exactly the sort of thing I want out of this series.
And finally Izayoi didn't win at something!

You'll note how people repeatedly keep saying things like "what's a rabbit doing on the lower floors?" She's effectively royalty in this place, even if she doesn't take advantage of it, and she very definitely has the power to back up the title when she feels inclined to show it.
