I'm not sure exercising your second amendment right by shooting at them would be the wisest idea though.
But you know the saying, power corrupts. This is why when people toss out the whole "nah, the military will revolt with us if the government turns evil!", I laugh. Some might, but many won't. There's more historical precedent that police and military will turn on their own people when ordered than there is those who mass desert in protest. Not saying it's impossible, but those ties, they run deep.
