You were right the first time, Ono Fuyumi is the author of both Shiki and Ghost Hunt. Also 12 Kingdoms.

Fujisaki Ryu is the mangaka for Shiki, probably best known for Hoshin Engi. Inada Shiho is the mangaka for Ghost Hunt.
