It depends on what program you use I guess. Most books give tutorials in a variety of programs, but there are some which focus on particular ones such as SAI or PS so it's good for you to look around.

Also a healthy dose of JP proficiency is recommended as some of the explanations are quite technical and you'll find it hard to know what's going from the illustrations alone.

Of course the tutorials are by different artists, with their own varying styles. Since I don't know what you're after, it's kinda difficult to recommend anything. If you want to provide more information I could try and recommend you things which are hopefully more relevant, or do you just want me to throw out titles?

(Also, still looking for scenery stuff c: )
