Could it be due to a switch in studios, I wonder? If AIC was supposed to handle it at first but Index changing that decision due to all the complaints from animators about AIC and the less than stellar quality of P4A? The short amount of footage shown after the P4 movie also showed the P3 MC with blue eyes, but the art released shortly after shows him with grey eyes.
The truth is that it was probably just a decision to change his eye color and this is just me coming up with excuses because I don't want AIC to handle it.
