They're both great old school RPG and both provide codes to redeem in GOG if I'm not mistaken.
Note: The golden rule for the Steam sales is simple: Only buy games that are a daily or flash deal. All other games either wait for it to go daily/flash or buy them on the last day of the sale. That way you always get the larger discount
