Wouldn't make so much of a difference to the Narutoverse if Naruto would die. The manga is already called "Sasuke" anyway. Naruto is just one of the side characters. Makes sense to kill him. And it would leave room for a Neji VS Sasuke fight, which would be the best thing ever through the entire Manga/Anime. So. KILL NARUTO PLX
They could still involve him though. Remember Obi Wan, talking from the land of the dead with Luke? Yeah. I can imagine Naruto doing that too.
