Also, although I don't recommend it as a primary information source, you can check
Wikipedia to find out the starting and ending publishing time of a manga as well as the airing time of its anime adaptation. Generally, if an anime adapted from a manga ends before the manga it's based on, it's likely to have an unsatisfying ending.
