Honestly the end of the episode just felt stupid. Nobody dies everyone is alright in some fashion. Sorry Henaro you miss out on that boat since you died last episode  . I mean Neeba is fine and hanging with chibi-Succubus. Even Gilgamesh is alright and getting to live happily with Ki (well happily if you exclude her new fetish of stabbing people with spoons...). Just felt out of place. Why the heck couldn't Ahmey get a cheat that allowed her to come back? Last episode really ends the series on a pretty bad note for me.
Series had done a pretty good job mixing in comedy with some serious bits too. I'm usually fine with a happy ending, but this was just overboard. At least they didn't try to force Fatina with Neeba after all was said and done.
Think I'll call the series 7/10 overall. It was pretty good at some points and not so good at others. Oh well time to let this one fall into memories and move on. |
