She was isolated in the human world and that's why she says she hates humans. Which was one obstacle Tsukune & Moka had in the very beginning.
I just re-read all of this a month or so ago, but already want to read it again. Man, I hope a box set is released or I can get some deal to get the first season manga. Same with Claymore, I'd buy that too. lol.
