Going by order and technicalities, his device does have alot of forms, as well has a large cartridge capacity. He does seems to be a tad powerful and versatile for a A rank mage, perhaps a higher rank, as well as being cartridge reliant for most of his spells. I'll assume his knowledge of old Belkan is Ancient Belkan since anything older than Neo-Belkan probably belongs there. This can be slightly inconsistent since how did knowledge of the system get to another planet of great distance from Mid, even considering the TSAB presence because of the rarity of the AB system. Also, a TSAB archivist having the materials and expertise to put together a device is slightly-off. Perhaps someone working in the technological apartment might work better.

Here we try to stick to canon as close as possible with what is shown and the basics for balance's sake. I have no problems with the character but we'll see how the others have their take on this.

I'm sure you guys noticed by now, that Koji and Yui aren't like other Mages/Knights.
They're experts on one type of magic, and then adepts on the other. So...
Koji: Neo-Belka Expert / Mid-Childa Adept
Yui: Mid-Childa Expert / Neo-Belka Adept

Oh, and the rank I'm using is like this...
Novice < Beginner < Adept < Expert < Master
So you can say that Signum is a Master in Belka style and Nanoha a Master in Mid-Childa style

Interesting. Going by this style of assessment, Gen would be Experts for both styles for a rough estimation, considering he was a Mid-styled Enforcer until he picked up the Neo-Belkan System. Going on a percentage scale I thought up, he's probably around the 70% mark range but anymore of this and it's going to seem ramblish.

Hotblood thrives in numbers and Franz has that rubbed off on Alpha though in much embarassment to Bravo. Pyscho shows up with a brief touching on his traits. And I'll say that was a pretty flamboyant drop for the supposed near non-existent OFM. Surely that would attract unwanted attention from somewhere else on the planet to them.

Hurray for a profile masterfully done and detailed, with progressively immersive and interesting revelation for each new paragraph. From her childhood to her teenage years to the escort of the Eye of Fire and the infusion with the said Lost Logia, this is by far one of the most wonderful profiles yet, comparable to that of Aaron's! This woman is building up nicely. VERY NICE!

Though, "Day of the Tears of Fire"? Somehow, that is rather familiar, from Ashan's history, no doubt?

Yup, the name "Day of the Tears of Fire" was taken from Ashan's history, pretty cool eh? Though none of the slightest connection to demon spies or the subsequent exile of the elves that would later be recognised as the Dark Elves.

Very interesting, to succinctly summarize, what with the grudging commensalism between Jail and Katrina, and the conversation between the Herald with Quint and Megane. Flawless fusion of storyline between CC and OC, too. And her skills prove to be almost exactly what I think that it should be, since the Lost Logia is insanely powerful and not every device is suitable to handle it.

Though, at times like this, one could almost want to help poor, confused Katrina. Even though she acts tough and brutal, I'm rather sure that she has been suffering inside. While reading people's minds is advantageous, you can get lost in the depths of other people's emotions. Perhaps meeting a kindred spirit who has gone through the same suffering, such as Leona, would help. Anyway, Leona does have the power to help her, though Asgard cannot be used under normal circumstances. And most probably, she doesn't exist there.

Balancing at work and more future attempts to her magic style as well.

While close it's not exact mind-reading. She hasn't been totally wrapped from those experiences but nonetheless she has been affected to some degree, most noticeably in her mindset. Katrina retains some of her own questions and unknowns but she is fully aware and in control of each and every action she takes. Her malicious side is ever-present but not dominant, just supremely calm and at ease most of the time. I'll just let the future portrayals of her speak for themselves when the time comes though I have hit a slump lately.

Ah Leona. Quite abit you let on about her here and some similarities the two share. A pity the two would never meet since GuardianS is set in a slightly different timeline and scape while I would prefer for Katrina's stories to be set in Kerokanon, I'm having difficulties pinning down the exact timeframe.

Nicely tied in! It turns out that Katrina is also another accomplished mentalist, trying to deceive and confuse people with mind games. Now, this is going to be interesting, what does Katrina want Lutecia from Megane for?

And who would be the other accomplished mentalist? Katrina's interest in Lutecia lies with one of my current problems right now, since bringing Lutecia over to the Prize is bound for some fixing within the timeline.

And very nice combination of ice and fire elemental magicks, though you took some that I already have in mind, namely Fimbulvetr and Muspelheim. Still, like Aaron, I dread what happens when she does have her hand on Mastame and the Grimoire ... Solar Supernova, perhaps?

And actually, I'm sort of thinking how is she going to be able to produce an AMF. As far as any of us know, AMF degrades magical links, making magic totally useless. If Katrina is going to "cast" it (I don't know), then she herself is going to be rendered helpless in magic, too, no? Drones can emit AMF indefinitely because they are not capable of magic, but mages? Hmm ...

Not to worry. A recent perusual of FlameSparkZ's OC, Yui, reminded me she got the name for Fimbulvetr first, of course the two spells being very much different in execution. Even similarly-named spells can have similar effects. As for Mastema and the Grimoire, only one spell has been fixed.

Taken into AMF's properties, the idea does have loopholes but that is still very much subject to future changes. As for now, the idea is for it to be casted as a single stand alone spell that activates on its own after casting, so the field can either be projected on a target location away from the caster or takes effect from the caster herself. The effect of her being affected as well is included as a equalizer for all within its effect, among a list of advantages and disadvantages.

Well just got some time to myself after driving about 10 hours total to hit two sets of family (one for Christmas eve and the other for Christmas proper.) Typing this up on a laptop at my grandparents house, yeah for high speed wireless! It is nice to be back in New Jersey though with it’s soaring vistas, breathtaking landscapes (cause you choke on the smog), and highly developed (read cluttered and Schizophrenia) transport network.

Anyway I’VE actually managed to write a little… Though admittedly I’ve been playing allot more Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries and FS2 on the laptop then writing. (Hurray for wireless joysticks!) Also as is want to happen with me my little fluff piece has begun to sprawl and spiral into something with a plot and after consideration I’m thinking about a bit of retconning to what I had planned initially… I’m thinking I’m gonna wanna work smaller scale now, but whatever.

Anyway, from my family and me, Merry Fucking Christmas.
