I really enjoyed this, nothing about it was masterful, but I felt it's still a cut above most "good' series.
The animation was solid, while not a fan of the mechanism designs I can't really fault them for doing something different.
The voice acting was kinda hit and miss, I was impressed by Ledo's VA in some eps. and completely underwhelmed the next.
I believe Urobutcher wrote the script for episode 1 and assisted with the overall series composition. I'll have to fact check that later, but I'm inclined to believe it to be true based on the high quality of the story taken as a whole. This takes place in a universe that felt if not real, at least believable, along with analogue to the modern day.
When I thought Urobutcher was running the show I refused to get attached to any specific character because I assumed it would be his usual bloodbath.

Overall I guess about an 8. I know, I know I said some bad things above but it still didn't keep me from loving this series.
