Well, damn, this episode was a bit of a shift in tone. We're given a glimpse of what it really is like to be in a band.

Overall, this episode felt out of place compared to the rest, and I am on the fence as to what good/bad this does to it as a whole. I guess they can use this series just to whore some more music and drama CDs (says the dude with pre-orders).

So next ep is really the last until the DVD special? I dunno if there's enough "material" for a second season.

Last ep preview seemed to make a big deal about the guitar, but I've changed strings before so I was a little suspicious of it. Resolved itself in minutes. - Oh hey, Nodoka makes a few more appearances. - Ritsu needs to learn when to PISS OFF. I dunno how it works between girls, but Ritsu was NOT being a bro. - Well, introduces some much needed friction. Is it like this in the manga? I can't imagine since it's a 4koma. - D'AWWWWWed at them visiting forehead while she was sick. - Yui's sneeze = foreshadowing!
