I see this one as a team result from Keima and Elsee. Keima settled Rieko's (quite literal) restless spirit, and Elsee (at Keima's impetus) convinced the kaketama that it was useless staying in Rieko's barren body. He didn't need to make anybody fall in love with him, but Keima's still the one who figured it out.
