This is completely off topic, but do you guys mind giving me your opinion for a story I want to write?

Spoiler for Life's Battle Prologue:

In battles, wars, competitions, anything, everyone has their own reasons for doing it. Sometimes it’s for fame, while others it’s for power. There are maybe other reasons, but I’m not really sure, nor do I really care. Not anymore.

I used to fight.

I fought because there wasn’t anything else I could do. My mother died when I was young. I had to fight for my life back then. Life in the street taught me many things. It was also during those days on the street my life took a turn. I joined the military, became one of the top ace pilots in the air force. I ended up being drafted into a special combat program. I fought for people whom I thought were my friends, and were truly my enemies, and vice versa.

I met people whom would become my enemies, truest friends, and family.

But that was so long ago.

I had left that all behind.

It was just me: Just me and my daughter, hidden away from this war torn world, forsaken by all its inhabitants, all in their own greed.

If I had to ever pick up another weapon, it would only so I could pave the road to a life of privacy between me, and my daughter.

I want to hold on to this dream for as long as possible. So long as I can hold onto this peace in my life, I can accept whatever challenges life may throw at me and my daughter.

So long as I know she is safe, I can live this life peaceably.

My name’s Makoto Hirushima. I am a half-human, half-elf.

My mother was human, my father was elf.

Despite the hatred between our worlds, my mother and father peace within one another. Unfortunately, I lost them both when I was very young. My father was forced back into the fighting, leaving his genetic mark upon me when I was born.

My mother was murdered when I was 11. But before that, she taught me the ways of the humans and the elves. I grew up knowing the cultures of both races. But it wasn’t an elf that had killed my mother. There were others: Dwarfs, and Raptors. It had always been a struggle between the four races. I don’t think it will ever stop. Not now, not ever.

This is my story. This is my life.
