Sony has started doing that, that's why I think they are on the right track for now.
Example:
Epic Mickey 2 (Vita) - 20€ in stores, 15€ on PSN.
I'm just afraid that it won't last since they effectively have no competition whatsoever. If they sold codes to other retailers like Steam does then I would be a bit more relieved.
