When I think of mystery or horror, I think of detective series like Ungo or thriller horror like Shiki. Another is kinda like Shiki in that way, but ofc the two series are different as Shiki had ramped up supernatural elements.

Action was not KnK's primary element. Most of the anime is filled with dialogue. There was more horror than action imo.
