I really don't see how not having Rider being killed can destory a brilliant story like F/SN, yeah the anime needs deaths.. but not when Rider being alive can have something to do with Sakura.. leaving Sakura as a side character in the story, now that can be a betrayal of a good story.

+1 for seeing the depth in my argument. There's still so many side characters and side parts that could be spun with that. Every character has a deeper story than what we've been shown as anime viewers.
