Nothing between those two. At all. (At least by the end of vol. 4.) In fact Hatakeda is a moe-crazed otaku, though I don't think he has 2d-con. (He seems to be very interested in voice actors *hint hint*.)
But as I explained before, Hatakeda is not even remotely aware of Matsumaru and Aka having a relationship. He does know that Matsumaru has some girl (at least that's how I remember it) but not who, and he firmly believes (like most other people) that Aka is single. After all, having a boyfriend would seriously hamper her career as a moe voice actor star.
I believe it was a very bad decision by the anime writers letting Hatakeda know about their relationship.
