Note: There is a difference between Investigation and Dectective Logs.
Detective Logs are written by a detective involved, but does not actually talk much about the bodies. These logs more or less chronicle the days of the three survivors before and after their vanishing acts.
Investigation Logs are written by a detective on the actual island, talking about the bodies

Near the ending of the episode, during Battler and Eva-Beatrice's logic battle, Eva-Beatrice made an arguement against Battler that almost cost him the game. But then Beatrice helped him by examining the corpses of Rudolph, Kyrie and Hideyoshi and found something in Kyrie's pocket to help him. What was this thing?
