Personally, I'm much more interested in the overall sequence of the entire Geass routine... I know it's quite apparent on how Lelouch saw his mother in Geass, but the overall pattern kind of suggested several contrived manners. It'd be a whole new curve ball if Suzaku was the one who saw Empress Marriane, and not Lelouch.

Put together with Schniezel's overriding of Suzaku's role in piloting Lancelot, and based on what we saw in Ep.11, my fucked up brain instantly came up with this....
Suzaku is the son of a mistress. However, he was caught by Britiannia at an early age when it was discovered that he is Kururugi's son. Suzaku is both genuinely and literally a Britiannia drone. Or at least was one, possibly conjured by Geass . As a geassed child, he underwent severe military training as a child, and was ordered by Shniezel to kill Lelouch's mother. Upon completing that mission, he was sent back to Japan by Britiannia to approach Kururugi with some excuses that his mother told him to go to him when she died or etc, and he took him in legitamitely accepting him as his son though never went public about it, which shows why JLF talked about the public not knowing about Suzaku. When the time was right, his Geass mode activated and he made his father looked like he killed himself, while using his close relation with his dad to create holes in Japan's defence lines, allowing Britiannia to win with ease, placing all blames on Kururugi. Only then Suzaku wakes up from Geass, and realizes he's in front of his father's corpse, however not remembering a lot of things from when he was smaller.
Freaking impossible, I know. That would mean that Suzaku was like "Teh Hitman 47" at age 8-9. Still endearing though, since I kinda liked the idea that it was Suzaku that personally layed the smackdown on the mom and Nunnaly.

That was not by me...it was...urgh...my alter-ego. That's right. One of my alter-egos born from the days of countless GSD conspiracy theories that was mind-inducingly wacko and ROFTLMAO at the same time. Luna = Fllay's sister wtf?
