Ehh...
Spoiler:
Zen x Shirayuki is as inevitable now as it was thirty chapters ago. The latest chapter even reiterated that her mission to prove herself will eventually come to an end, which, as we all know, will lead to her and Zen getting married. The problem I have is that the mangaka is taking one of the more cliche routes for a romance, in that the main couple is constantly separated so that the few moments they get to actually spend some time together are strengthened by how far they've been apart. Izana even bluntly says this at the end of the latest chapter. Kiki, Mitsuhide, and Obi's reactions say it all though - the constant separation between them is more like torture. This, to me, is just a very sloppy way to write a romance. It adds artificial drama for no meaningful reason. Anyway, at the rate the story is going, Zen and Shirayuki's marriage should happen in, I don't know, 100 chapters or so. As for Obi, he seems to be in the same position as always - the bodyguard that won't stray from his loyalty and friendship to either Zen or Shirayuki. I actually like this, despite wishing he was less prominent, since it differentiates him from the interfering rivals in other manga. I know some readers want him to confess, but I hope he never chooses to betray Zen for what would assuredly be a rejection anyway.
