I really gotta keep my eyes open now .. i didn't even notice the guy until u guys talked about it on the forums and i had to rewatch that particular scene.
And i think your right. That is a tie he's wearing , and back in the time of Iskandar's rule Tie's weren't invented yet [i guess?]
So i'm going with the -that is Waver in the future- guess! I mean. Emiya Shiro became a Hero of Justice [In FSN] , so it isn't that unrealistic that Waver too can become someone cool.
At the end of the Light Novel Waver also said he wanted to go on a journey etc.
Kinda sweet/nice how the Anime had such a scene for the viewers to guess/speculate for themselves .. well. i am satisfied with just that.
