I've just read chapter three of Volume 11. Am I the only one that's bothered by Manami's advice for Kyousuke?

It was important to make the younger Kyousuke realise that he has limitations and can't do everything by himself, but the idea that he should just give up because he has those limitations just doesn't sit right with me. I can understand that, as a close friend, she doesn't want him to keep pushing and hurting himself, but I just can't agree with her advice to give up if there's a problem he can't solve. I feel she should really encourage him to think things through clearly first and not try to solve everything by himself.

Minami's advice just seems to amount to: "you're ordinary, so stop trying to be anything more. If there's something you can't do, then just give up". I just can't see how that'd be the best way to solve a crisis of confidence.

I guess I am bothered but her advice was more of a "kill two birds with one stone" kind of thing. Meaning that she had her own self agenda along with wanting to help Kyousuke which is why she said what she did. Not sure if I'm correct at all with what I just said. :/
