Well, 'k, that's not quite true. Watching Saki did lead me to pick up Akagi which subsequently lead me to wikipedia-ing the rules and joining some online playsite. But still.
Oh god I love Mihoko x Hisa so much. I want moar. Hisa's so amazing, I almost raged when Saki inevitably got the last spot in the individual preliminaries. Tho pragmatically, that did allow Hisa to hold onto her precarious 'respected special person who I've ever only lost to' position in Mihoko's eyes. On the battlefields of the nationals, Mihoko would have risked losing that idealism over both Hisa and herself...
Anyway. Dat fireworks scene. Shit I need to find some fanfiction or something.
