I think alot of people might be caught out about the premise of this series, as I for one was. I was expecting it to go one way but it surprises me and goes the other, which is why I actually love this series so much.
Well from what I've read of the series so far(and whatever spoilers pop up) if they stay relatively faithful to the LN then it's def a winner.
But even so if they wander abit, I'll still no doubt put this as my anime of the fall season if not the maybe the year.
Altho I think the debate might be between The World God Only Knows and this.
I'm still up in the air on whether it's fair to pit any anime series I see this year against my favorite piece of anime I've seen this year, Cat Shit One.
