Though like I said before it is only a statement that urges Japan to do something, I don't think they are probably using little to no resource for a single statement. And some people are talking as a single news article from an anime news site means UN is prioritizing this issue over every other issues.

So now you want the "Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women" to solve hunger issues? Or now you are saying to get rid off that? There are tons of issues that are need to solve and there is no universal hierarchy of problem and issues. And like I said before it is a only a freaking statement it isn't like UN is prioritizing this issue over everything else.
