ATM I'm inclined to think that sigs should be less visually distractive and more visually attractive.. ^^
That little border is made like that because I didn't want to have it with a traditional shape, like a rectangle etcetera..

I like it that size.. 49 358bytes is big enough.. nee~
It's that size because it's .png like the avatar.. maybe I would have gotten it smaller if I had made it .jpg but that would mean i would have to make the transparency a trick.. doesn't sound too stylish..

Anyway.. how many people here like how some sigs seem to take 10 times more space then the posters space :))
Right now it tall enough for the size of my posts and it's wide enough for it's height ;)

BTW what do you mean by making the right side transparent.. it has a border there for a little contrast with the left side.. they complement each other ;)

You do not always need a border, smart one, it is not vital. Most borders are just there to contribute to the stock/bg, others are their because it's a trend or teh GFXer has run out of ideas and decides to use the Stroke tool to put some bland border. Also, the image is from Final Fantasy. The BG is just filters, gradients, brushes, and clone tool.

Jeez, this site lacks GFXers. @_@
