They rushed 2 chapters of the game in 1 episode, that's why. I know that it's extremely rare to have a good anime adaptation from an eroge, but this is nowhere acceptable for anyone who has read the visual novel. Kaoruko in the VN was way more likeable than how she's depicted in the anime. The same applies to Kaori. If you have at least played the trial, you can tell that she's very sexy. But here I can't see that about her.
