Since I bought the first two seasons from funimation recently, I felt the need to watch everything all over again. This is the second time I watch the series(the first through fan subs). Anyway, I brought myself to watch the dreaded 3rd season again. I think I appreciate some parts a little more watching it a second time but the end still sucks. Anyway, I wanted to make some observations and speculations about something minor at the end. Well, it's nothing big really. It's just about Imadori and Ichijou, my favorite couple besides Eri and Harima.

Spoiler for just my speculations:

Well first, Lala said "You didn't change" and "The Gorilla's back" which implies that she hasn't seen Imadori in awhile(though these lines are different in the manga). Possibly not since the end of highschool. But enough about her, what I'm interested in is the fact that Ichijou called Imadori by his first name, "Kyousuke." Now we all know Ichijou's personality. She wouldn't normally be so open. So the only explanation is that they've gotten much closer over the years. Hopefully they're going out. Yeah, I know, I'm probably just wishing for something that's not there. It's better than the rest anyway. Shigeo Umezu and Madoka Kido aren't even seen in the end. They're the only actual couple in the series(besides one other). Though in the manga ending, Shigeo is there and explains that Madoka had to work so she couldn't make it(they're still going out, good for them). Toki Nagayama is getting married to Kazuya Tanaka(as seen by the ring she's showing off). They're the couple that started going out after the war game. Well, just showing that some people got good ends even though everyone else was pretty much cheated.

Oh and why the heck is the last episode called 26 when there were only 2 episodes in the ova. I don't know why this hasn't bothered me before.
