It can happen in months... and from a medical standpoint, you may loose temporary movement after 8 days of inmovilization. 2 years is lethal. Regardless the age, of course a younger person will recover quickly and more efficiently than an adult.

I insist, its was a determinant factor stated in the novels of why they could what they do for 2 years. As a piece of fiction its ok, but only if the source didnt consider it in the first place. WHich is not the case...

Its a personal thing, I am just commenting, if you are OK with it, so be it. To me its a let down.
