What impressed me the most about this first episode were those great action scenes: fast, dynamic, good animations, great direction. And a lot of blood on top of it!
they'll probably drop the pace in the next episodes, but it's alright as long as they keep this quality level.
About the story, so far it seems just a bunch of cliches with well drawn but little interesting charachters, I hope to see some better plot ideas in episode 2. Downloading right now...
