might be personal I.S. but by the time Mondo Grosso 2 roll, it's rather outdated (not that the overall abilities is different that much, all Gen-2 have is optional weapons). It must be reverted to default form prior to the storage, so she didn't have it currently.
This is the reason ByakuShiki removed from Ichika in Chapter 11, it undergo various frame adjustment and many internal parts is replaced (though the external appearance is almost unchanged).

Not anti Charlotte so to speak, just that many, MANY fanfic already choose this pairing (including Daydreams IIRC), overused LOL.
(And she's semi-canon official pairing, so I actually expect you for being unconventional and creative)
