Yes, and Hayate slowly helps Athena recover her lost memories by being by her side. A good thing indeed, and the story still continue.

The time she spent with Hayate was/is her golden memory out of ALL the pain she had gone through. It is a golden memory that she doesn't want to forget and never try to forget no matter how sad it ended.
