We knew Nozomi is going with Kageroza. It's a matter of execution and I'm glad that it was well written. Things were explained and the build up to Nozomi's capture was well done (at least from the point where she saved Kon). The theme/idea that Nozomi was trying in vain was well portrayed by the numerous failed attempts to save her.
As usual, it is good to see villains with some brains.
